Human Resources Roundtable - Navigating the Leave Landscape
Managing various types of leaves can quickly become overwhelming, and when it comes to tracking and stacking leaves, combined with the constantly changing landscape of state leave requirements for multi-state employers, it gets downright dissertation level demanding. We’ll use our time together to clearly define various types of leave, such as paid parental, paid sick, unlimited PTO, etc. We'll discuss what employers in Ohio need to comply with and provide, and touch on the additional requirements of employers with employees in other states. We’ll talk about how to read leave laws, how to track and stack leaves, and touch on FMLA, including who must be counted and whether you have “mini-FMLA” requirements to consider.
