Working with Challenging Family Members

There is usually one family member who just doesn’t seem to align with the goals and aspirations of the others, and yet they want to be involved in the company. They may be truly dysfunctional (have an addiction or psychological challenges, for example). However, they may simply have different passions that can be utilized in creative ways to benefit the business. How do we help family members be successful in the business by capitalizing on their unique gifts or inspire them to pursue their passions elsewhere, where they may be much more fulfilled?
