Performance Management – It’s More Than Annual Evaluations
Performance management is not just an annual review. It begins before you hire an employee and should be part of your daily employee management process. Effective performance management looks at employee retention, development, alignment, motivation, and rewards, and when done correctly, it also helps you determine when it’s time to exit an employee from the company. There is no one right way to manage your teams in your family business, so be prepared to share ideas and take notes!
